This electrolyte paste is suitable for working horses to help maintain normal electrolyte balance by helping to replenish losses in sweat. It can be used both prior to and following competition and can help to offset electrolyte sweat losses during prolonged travel. It is also ideal for use during endurance competition and should be given whilst taking into account the horses' relative rate of sweating, the prevailing weather conditions and the amount of water that has been drunk.
