ProKalm acts rapidly, usually within 15-30 minutes and the effects can last up to 8 hours. At low doses ProKalm is perfect for taking the edge off horses. At moderate doses ProKalm is ideal for more demanding situations. Large doses can be used for horses that are difficult to handle in situations such as clipping, shoeing, travelling, backing, etc where a sedative such as ACP might be considered. ProKalm can be fed as required. ProKalm can also be fed daily to achieve a long lasting reduction in anxiety.
